Welcome to GetPrettyCool, and to our very first blog post. We built this place around a simple idea: if you’ve already built a following on Instagram or TikTok, you deserve a real website to go with it. It shouldn’t cost anything, and it shouldn’t take a weekend.
So we built a tool that makes one for you. Type your handle, and about a minute later you have a live website of your own, designed around your actual photos and videos. It’s free, and you don’t have to hand over a password.
Your profile isn’t your website
A social profile is great for posting. It’s less great as the one place people can find you. You don’t own the layout, you get one link in your bio, and the platform decides what people see. A website fixes that: it’s a page with your name on it, a contact form that reaches you directly, and an address you can put on a business card.
The trouble is that building one usually means picking a template, learning a site builder, writing copy and paying for hosting. Most people never get past the template. We wanted to skip all of that.
How it works
You do one step. We do the rest while you watch.
Tell us your handle
Pick Instagram or TikTok and type your username. You can add one sentence about what the site is for, like “booking commissions” or “my bakery”, and the design will lean that way.
We read your public profile
We read your name, bio, profile photo, follower count and the images from your profile. We only read what anyone can already see, so there’s no login, no permissions and nothing to connect.
AI designs a page around you
Our designer looks at your pictures and chooses colors, type and layout to match them, so a pastel ceramicist and a neon DJ don’t get the same page. It writes the copy from your bio and makes sure everything works on a phone.
It goes live
You get a link straight away. Create a free account to claim your site and it moves to getprettycool.com/yourhandle.
What you get for free
- A designed one-page site with a hero, gallery, about section, links and contact, built around your content instead of a template with your name dropped in.
- An About page with your full bio, your profile link and how to get in touch.
- A working contact form. Messages from visitors land in your inbox.
- Hosting. There’s nothing to install or update.
- Video on TikTok sites. Your clips play in the hero and in a video section.
- Images that don’t break. Image links from Instagram and TikTok expire within hours, so we keep a copy next to your site.
- A spot in our Creators directory once you claim your site, plus a listing in our sitemap so search engines can find you.
Optional upgrades
The free site is a complete site. If you want to take it further, there are a few optional upgrades:
- Custom domain name. Put your site on yourname.com.
- Custom design changes. Change your page by describing what you’d like in a chat, such as “the green is too bright”.
- Stripe Catalog. Sell prints, sessions, merch or downloads from your page, with the money going straight to your Stripe account.
- Stand alone WordPress site. A full site you edit yourself, with your design moved across.
